Wall Street Journal Reviews Alex Taylor's New Book

Alex Taylor's book Forms of Persuasion: Art and Corporate Image in the 1960s (University of California Press, 2022) has been reviewed by the Wall Street Journal. "Mr. Taylor's "Forms of Persuasion" is a well-researched, revealing account of how avant-garde art and design filled the "fishbowl foyers" of Midtown Manhattan, the imaginations of board members and the pockets of a lucky few artists,' reads the article, published in the newspaper on July 18, 2022. This sophisticated new kind of sales pitch, Mr. Taylor argues, helped secure the global dominance of the American corporation."
