Each year, the Renaissance Society of America awards the Phyllis Goodhart Gordan Prize to one book that is deemed to the best book in Renaissance Studies. Prof. Christopher Nygren's book, Titian's Icons: Tradition, Charisma, and Devotion in Renaissance Italy, has been awarded the 2022 Gordan Prize.
