Terry Smith TED-x PITT 2019 Speaker

EL ANATSUI is a Ghanian sculptor active for most of his career in Lagos, Nigeria where he works and teaches. He is best known for his wall hangings made from bottle caps stitched together with wire. From small to large scale, they hang on private walls and drape across public facades. A major work, Three Angles, hung from the front of the Carnegie Museum of art during the 57th Carnegie International, Pittsburgh, October 2018 to March 2018.
