First-Year Programs Offers ‘In the Museum’ Academic Community

For the second year, HAA is contributing to an Academic Community titled ‘In the Museum.’ This group of first-year students will take the same 7 credits together, including Gretchen Bender’s ‘Museums: Society and Inclusion?’ course and a dedicated section of Academic Foundations, taught by Alex Taylor. First-year programs are designed to help groups of learners adjust to a large research university, and to improve academic performance and overall retention. Read more at First-Year Programs.
