Prof. Nygren has been appointed part of a three-person team of Articles Editors at Renaissance Quarterly, the leading journal in Renaissance studies. As the official journal of the Renaissance Society of America, Renaissance Quarterly presents around twenty articles and 400 reviews per year, engaging all disciplines spanning the period between about 1300-1700. Since 1954, Renaissance Quarterly has provided an important forum for articles and reviews of original and significant research and interpretation. The editorial team will help coordinate submission, peer-review, and special editions. His term as Articles editor will begin in 2025 and go through 2028.
