Turning Points: Curatorship and the Winds of Change

Thursday, April 15, 2021 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Curatorship and the Winds of Change is the final event in the conversation series, Turning Points: Museum Practice Now. Pairing recognized leaders in museum practice, one from outside the Pittsburgh region and one from within, the series aims to catalyze important questions about diversity and equity in museums.

Curatorship and the Winds of Change is the third and final event of the series, on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 4pm EST. Featuring Ryan N. Dennis, Chief Curator and Artistic Director at the Mississippi Museum of Art’s Center for Art and Public Exchange, in conversation with Kilolo Luckett, Executive Director + Chief Curator of ALMA|LEWIS, this conversation will center on strategies visual arts curators can employ to engage audiences in art exhibitions and permanent collection displays.

Turning Points is made possible by generous support from the Fine Foundation, to mark the launch of the Museum Studies Major at Pitt.
