Alison will present a draft of her presentation for the upcoming NEH workshop, “Teaching Art History with AI.” It will focus on the ways that synthetic image generators (such as Dall-E 2) store and process image data, with an emphasis on how different this approach to representing the visual world is from our own intuitive, human experience.
