Please join us at Colloquium this week as we hold a community conversation about Jennifer Josten’s contribution to “A Questionnaire on Global Methods” published this past spring in October. Josten’s piece advocates for a hemispheric approach to art-historical research, pulling on examples from Latin American and Latinx art historiography. Vuk Vuković will engage not only the author, but also the entire assembly, in a discussion of the ways that this contribution encourages us to take a closer look at the hierarchical and oppressive structures in which our research and teaching methodologies are embedded.
