Design Studio 1
The presentations are free and open to the public. The students will each give a 5-10 minute description of their project, followed by 5-10 minutes of review by design professionals from the community. Foundations is the first studio in our sequence. These students will be designing a public and a private pavilion sited on the Youghiogheny River. Design Studio 1 students will be presenting designs for new community center in Braddock, Hazelwood, and Uptown. Design Studio 3 students will be presenting sustainably designed housing centers in pairs.
