Vuk Vuković delivered a paper at the 2024 SCMS Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. His paper, "Art Beyond Borders: The Satellite Projects of Nam June Paik (1984–1988)," examined the transmission of satellite signals employed by the Korean-born artist Nam June Paik to network the world using satellite technology to open cross-cultural exchange across national borders.
