Annika Johnson Interviewed for Exhibition on Native American Representation

Alum Annika Johnson (PhD 2019) curated an exhibition “Faces of the Interior, The North American Portraits of Karl Bodmer” to promote Native American representation through Indigenous eyes. First-ever associate curator of Native American art at the Joslyn Art Museum, Johnson launched a Native art advisory committee, opened the Joslyn’s archives to Native elders and tribes on request and mentored Native students in museum-and art-related career paths.
