Throughout its two-hundred-year history, the National Mall in Washington, D.C., has expanded and evolved, and it can evolve again to meet the civic and cultural needs of our growing democracy. Dr. Feldman is an art historian and chair of the non-profit National Coalition to Save Our Mall.
