8:30 - Welcome and introduction of participants (Drew Armstrong, director of architectural studies, department of history of art and architecture, University of Pittsburgh)
8:40 - Overview of individual programs
- Each program director or coordinator will be asked to give a 5-10 minute overview of their program
- Each presenter should outline the philosophy of their program and how its structure and course offerings reflect that philosophy. Other issues may include how programs are adapting to the evolving practice of historic preservation in the United States
10:15 - Roundtable discussion – 1: “How Preservation is Taught”
