2014 Milton Fine Museum Profession Fellowships Announced

The Department of the History of Art and Architecture Department would like to congratulate the winners of the 2014 Milton Fine Museum Profession Fellowships:

Karen Lue will be working with Nicholas Chambers, the Milton Fine Curator, and Jessica Beck, Assistant Curator, at the Andy Warhol Museum in the summer of 2014.

Matthew Sova will be working with Janet McCall, Executive Director of the Society for Contemporary Craft in the 2014-2015 academic year.

Grace Strong will be working with Marilyn Russell, Curator of Education at the Carnegie Museum of Art in the summer of 2014.

Through generous support from the Fine Foundation, three fellowships are available for majors of the History of Art and Architecture department interested in museum professions each year.  Each participant receives a stipend of $3500 for the duration of the internship to assure their freedom from employment so that they can dedicate themselves fully to the intensive professional development experience.  Application materials are due in early March each year and are reviewed by a faculty committee before the finalists are forwarded directly to the fellowship supervisors who select the winners.
